I've never been satisfied with learning something at the surface. When an idea captures my attention, I follow it deeply. I question it, explore it from different angles, and stay with it until it becomes something I understand not only intellectually, but intuitively. I need to arrive at my own understanding, because that's when knowledge stops being information and becomes something I can actually live.
That's how I've approached every wisdom tradition I've studied. Rather than accepting any one system as complete, I've been drawn to explore where they overlap, where they differ, and what becomes possible when they're brought into conversation with one another.
